Alright BABES!

Listen, I’ve been a terror this month, and I’m outrageously cross-posting from my other Substack the article I just wrote; hopefully, you’ll enjoy it and haven’t abandoned me just yet.

Last week, I was in Canada having the kind of week one has with great friends. The ease of hanging out, being one street away from them ‘popping in’, feeling 100% less lonely than our existence in America. We’re back home and into the pace again. I’ve written a question-and-answer article here, which is admittedly self-indulgent, but let’s think of it as a ‘Get to know you’ for those who are new here.

What’s your favourite childhood memory?

I was born in 1980, so back then we were all playing on the streets, 123 in, football in the park, the summers felt long and hot, and you were always outside. So grateful to be born then!

What’s a completely useless skill you’re secretly proud of?

Not sure if it’s a ‘skill’, but I’m so easily confused I could entertain myself for hours, and my husband and friends wonder at my comments.

If you could have any superpower, what would it be and why?

To fly - saying that I’m scared of heights, so maybe something more grounded like Time Travel, to visit a time in my life when my dad was alive and I lived at home.

What’s the most adventurous thing you’ve ever eaten?

Alligator balls, ahem, let me be clear, they weren’t testicles, just meat shaped into a ball. Delicious!
